Technical Writer – FAQs Remote, USA

Our client is an online, peer-to-peer, marketplace for buying and selling used cars. They looking for a Technical Writer to revamp their FAQs. Specifically, the objectives are to: re-write/refresh or create articles. (topics) for the Shift FAQ page – looking at around 40-50 needed create concise, friendly and instructional material to help customers educate themselves on the car buying process possibly create internal informational documentation for an internal wiki that is used to help internal teams self-serve their answers. Expectations: able to source a wide variety of information, both internal and, at times, external to create the material can work more or less independently, and feels comfortable making the connections at the company. (The client would of course supply the list of who to get in touch with), to get the information they need to write the articles Once the refresh of their FAQs pages in complete, it will be handed over to a new team to manage it. Theyve already done a first pass on the articles they need, but they dont have the bandwidth to prioritize writing all of the articles at this time. The ideal candidates will have experience drafting FAQs/articles such as those outlined above. Writers who have worked in the automobile market is a plus but not required. There may be additional projects for the right writer, including some ID projects. Need is ASAP. The client is accepting candidates for immediate consideration.
